Towards the end of Last Year, AVOW launched their Ty AVOW regeneration survey, offering a chance for those that enter to win £100 for their charity, and £25 for themselves.
The regeneration survey is part of Ty AVOW’s exciting ambition to regeneration their home on 21 Egerton Street into a welcoming space for the voluntary and community sector in Wrexham. This 3.5-million-pound plan looks to turn Ty AVOW into a carbon-neutral, energy efficient community space. The redevelopment, designed by Lawray Architects, will include modern and affordable offices, meeting spaces and a flexible event area for up to 75 people. Designed with welcome and accessibility in mind.
“This regeneration brings something unique to Wrexham – a multifunctional space designed for and by the voluntary and community sector. Ty AVOW is our home, but it’s also yours” – Dawn Roberts-McCabe, AVOW’s Chief Officer said.
To ensure AVOW heard from as wide an audience as possible, AVOW launched a public consultation to its members and the wider voluntary and community sector. Always looking for ways to give back, AVOW offered every entrant a chance to a £100 for their charity, and £25 for themselves.
The winner of this draw was Kofo Oladunjoye, Project Manager at Race Council Cymru. Kofo won for their organisation £100, and £25 for themselves.

We’re passionate about strengthening communities and creating more inclusive opportunities, and we value the role Ty AVOW plays in supporting regeneration and grassroots organisations that make a real difference.”
