AVOW Chief Officer Dawn Roberts-McCabe unveiled the £3.5 million plans to turn the charity’s Egerton Street base into a carbon-neutral, energy efficient community space. The redevelopment, designed by Lawray Architects, will include modern and affordable office and meeting spaces, and a flexible event area for up to 75 people – all designed to be accessible and welcoming.

AVOW embarks on this new venture and looks to include its members, and the wider voluntary and community sector in the planning for the building. In this public consultation, AVOW want to also take the opportunity to give back to the community.
Every entrant has a chance to win up to £100 Amazon gift voucher for their charity, and £25 Amazon gift voucher for themselves. All you need to do is to fill out the consultation, making sure you fill out your details at the end of the survey. This will enter you into the prize draw, held on the 30th of November, 2025. Terms and Conditions
- For each entrant, AVOW will add £1 to the winning pot for the charity, up to a maximum of £100.
- For each entrant AVOW will add £1 to the winning pot for the individual, up to a maximum of £25.
- Entrants must be over the age of 18 years of age.
- Entrants to the draw is free, and only available online.
- AVOW Staff are not eligible to be entered into the prize draw.
- For legal purposes, this draw begins on October 9th, 2025.
- The winner will be randomly selected from all entrants that have arrived before Midnight on the 30th of November, 2025.
- The Draw will take place on Monday, the 1st of December, 2025.
- Entrants are only eligible if they have filled out the form, AND given us a full name, organisation, and email address.
- If the winner does not respond to us within 14 days, we reserve the right to draw another winner.
- Only one entry per person.
- Multiple people may select the same charity.
- Your data will be retained under the AVOW Privacy Policy. It is a condition that your data may be used for future correspondence in relation to this consultation process.
- This prize draw is only open to people who live and/or work in Wrexham County Borough.
- Entrants agree that the winning organisation will be announced publicly, on social media and in the press.
- This prize draw is run in Wales, and will be held under the law and jurisdiction thereof.
