Grants of £5,000 and £10,000

Are you a local arts, cultural or community organisation in Wrexham County? Do you have a bold idea for a cultural event that could help Wrexham shine on a national stage?
Together with Wrexham County Brough Council (WCBC) and the Wrexham Community and Culture Trust (WCCT) We are inviting proposals for grants of up to £10,000 to deliver ‘test events’ as part of a new Cultural Commissions programme, supporting Wrexham’s journey towards becoming UK City of Culture 2029.
This programme, led by WCCT, is a strategic investment in Wrexham’s cultural economy – designed to increase resilience, drive innovation, and showcase the county’s capacity to deliver ambitious, inclusive and diverse cultural events.
The Wrecsam 2029 Cultural Commission grant is for applications that have a fresh, novel concept and is a project/series of activities that are NOT seeking funding from either the WCBC Key fund or the Cadwyn Clwyd/AVOW Prosperous Communities Key Fund.
