Volunteer with AVOW

AVOW have several opportunities to volunteer, both at Tŷ Avow and out in Wrexham County Borough.

Volunteer on our Reception desk

Or in the offices doing essential administration tasks. This is a great opportunity to build-up your CV and gain valuable experience in an office environment.

Wrexham Volunteer Centre

Wrexham Volunteer Centre take on volunteers who help with their administration, placements and at their engagement events such as Volunteer Drop-in and out in the community.

The Play Team

The Play Team look for volunteers to help with their play provisions at The Land, Plas Madoc and with their Street Play project across Wrexham County Borough. You can learn more about Play Provisions HERE.

Little Sunflowers Childcare

Little Sunflowers Childcare is a full day care service for children aged 2 -11 years in Plas Madoc, which provides a friendly and supportive service, where children can develop and socialise in a fun and caring environment. Find out more about Little Sunflowers HERE.

 Monthly Mail-out volunteers

Monthly Mail-out volunteers help us with hard-copy mailing at the end of every month.

Social Media Volunteers

Social Media Volunteers are whizz-kids at Facebook and Twitter, or help us design posters and flyers. They work with the marketing team to promote the work of AVOW and the Third Sector in Wrexham County Borough.
