Join Shopmobility Wrexham
Joining ShopMobility Wrexham is free, quick and easy. To become a member:
- Visit the ShopMobility Wrexham office during opening hours.
- Complete a short membership registration form.
- Bring proof of your name and address.
- Bring one form of photo identification (such as a driving licence or passport). If this is not possible please contact the team to discuss
- A member of the ShopMobility team will explain how the service works and answer any questions you may have.
- If you are hiring a mobility scooter, you will receive a demonstration and a short test to ensure you are confident and comfortable using the equipment safely, before your first journey
- Once your registration is complete, you will be able to hire mobility scooters and wheelchairs, subject to availability.
Our friendly team is always on hand to provide advice and support, ensuring you can use the service with confidence and enjoy greater independence while visiting Wrexham town centre.
Our services and equipment are available for hire by anyone with or caring for someone with mobility issues, whether permanent or temporary. You do not need to be registered as disabled or have a diagnosis of a disability. If you or someone you are caring for have mobility issues we are here to help and support you.
This service is available to anyone over the age of 18 years old if they want to hire a scooter. There is no upper age restriction.
