Little Sunflowers Childcare

little sunflowers

Little Sunflowers is registered for full day care for children aged 2 -11 years old. The service is currently registered to care for 48 children at any one time and run from Rhosymedre Community School and the Integrated Children’s Centre (ICC) in Plas Madoc.

Mission Statement: Little Sunflowers provides a friendly and supportive service, where parents & carers can leave their child knowing that they will learn, develop and socialise in a fun and caring environment.

Partnership with Parents and Carers

When entering Little Sunflowers Child Care we see our role as a shared process with you – the Parent/Carer. We understand how difficult it is to leave your child with us for the first time, so trial sessions that we offer include both the parents/carers and children.  You can either leave your child or stay with them, it is up to the individual Parent/Carer. If you wish to leave your child you can phone as many times as you wish to inquire about your child.

Once your child has started the sessions please feel free to discuss any aspects of your child’s development with a member of staff; we have an open door policy and would like to help in any way we can to reassure you.

Our information board is situated in the entrance hall and keeps you up-to-date with all the relevant information, and will inform you about activities, planning, daily routines and staffing.  Our menus are on display in the entrance and in each room.

Our Policies are available for all parents to view and to make comments, and suggestions about them.
