Have a Safeguarding concern?

Safeguarding concerns must be reported directly to the relevant statutory services.

AVOW’s Role

AVOW is committed to upholding the principles of Safeguarding and the protection of children, young people and adults at risk, in line with its internal Safeguarding policies and procedures and relevant Welsh legislation and statutory guidance, including the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 and Wales Safeguarding procedures.

Please Note:

  • AVOW is not a statutory safeguarding service
  • AVOW cannot undertake safeguarding investigations on behalf of other organisations or individuals.
  • AVOW cannot provide emergency safeguarding interventions.

Safeguarding Officer

David is AVOW’s Safeguarding Officer. His role is to ensure that the wellbeing and safety of individuals across our services remain a top priority. David provides advice, guidance, and oversight on safeguarding matters, offering support both to staff and community members whenever needed.
