Race Council Cymru Meeting in Cardiff – including transport

Race Council Cymru has booked a coach for North Wales resident to travel down to Cardiff on 2 December.

This is a very important meeting and it would be great if as many people as possible from north Wales could make it.

The meeting will begin by assessing this year’s BHM programme. Importantly, however, we will then focus on how we move forward with our planning for Black History Wales 365, where Black History events are held and promoted throughout the year (BHM will still be a major feature of BHW 365).

Your voice needs to be heard! Jenny Stoves of Arts Council Wales will be there specifically to hear what people want to do. This is our chance to let them know not only what amazing work we already do in North Wales but what work we want to do and why we want funding to do it. We want North Wales to be recognised and supported as a major provider of Black History events – and we need you there to tell them. Please support this event.

We’ve booked a 26-seater, so we’re limited for space so please book early to confirm your seat.

Pick up points will be Pontio at 5am, Colwyn Bay at 5.30am, and Wrexham at 6.30am.

Due to the nature of the day, I do not think this day will be suitable for young children.
