North Wales Cancer Patient Forum
People with a personal experience of cancer care are sharing their views and ideas to help improve our local cancer services – would you be interested in helping us?
The North Wales Cancer Patient Forum brings together cancer patients, family and friends, enabling their views to be heard and used to shape positive changes tolocal cancer care.
Over recent years the Forum has worked together with NHS doctors, nurses and managers, helping them to provide the quality of care that people want and need. The Forum has often been most effective when tackling the small changes that can make a big difference to the experience of a patient or carer.
How can you help?
- You are welcome to come along to one of our Forum meetings which in North East Wales take place once every two months at the resource centre in Gwersyllt. Meetings offer a chance to hear about and share views on current ‘hot topics’ affecting cancer patients in the local area.
The Forum is able to reimburse travel expenses and strives to include representatives from all communities.
- Even if you are unable to attend meetings, you can receive news updates and share your views via email.
- You can simply get in touch to tell us about your experience of cancer services – what worked well and what could have been better.
If you have been affected by cancer your views areimportant and can help improve care and support for others. You can make a difference.
