New Project is now live: Measuring the Mountain – understanding experiences of Social Care in Wales – stories wanted
MtM is a co-productive approach to understanding the early impact of Social Service and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014. They are funded by Welsh Government for 1 year and the project has two, over-lapping phases:
- Phase 1 – collect and identify themes, issues and trends from 2000 stories about people’s experiences of social care; and
- Phase 2 – examine some of these key themes at a Citizens’ Jury in September (24th – 27th).
They want to work with organisations that can help collect stories and promote the project to others. Although people can share their story themselves, many people will prefer, or need, to tell it to someone else and have their help to share it. Organisations may have staff and volunteers who could help with this.
