Need money to Make a Difference? Our MAD grant re-opens
AVOW gives something back to celebrate 25 years of helping the third sector in Wrexham
Throughout 2013 AVOW has been raising funds to distribute to third sector organisations and community groups through the “Making A Difference (MAD) grant scheme”. We managed to raise over £10,000 with a lot of help from various businessess and community groups and have already distributed some of the fund, but we want to give Community and Voluntary groups a second chance to bite the MAD grant cherry!
Applications can be made from 6th January 2014 and are welcome from any voluntary and community organisations that provide services and support for their respective communities within Wrexham County Borough. Your project MUST Make A Difference and this should be clearly outlined in the application form to be in with a chance of being sucessful.
All projects / services outlined in your application must be carried out within, and be for the benefit of people / communities within Wrexham County Borough.
In the application you will be asked to provide evidence from the people who will benefit from the grant detailing how it would benefit them. So get your thinking caps on!
The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon Friday 28th February 2014 and successful groups will be notified in March 2014.
Full terms and conditions and application forms can be requested by telephoning Darren Tomkins on 01978 312556.
