My Welsh Sport_The Conversation and Community Sport and Activity Programme

Monday 22 January
Venue Cymru, Llandudno

As a nation we have had some incredible sporting successes. We also have increasing numbers of children taking part in sport every week. This is great news and a testament to the hard work of people already involved in sport.

Wales however faces a number of challenges related to inactivity, obesity and other long-term health conditions. Sport on its own can’t solve these issues but it must play a much bigger role in getting our nation active and staying active.

This is why we are inviting people who have an interest in sport, as well as people who aren’t part of Wales’ sporting family to develop a vision for sport in Wales. Everyone needs to be able have their say – whatever their experiences or background.

The My Welsh Sport_The Conversation events will be thought provoking, informative and there will be lots of opportunities to have your say.
