Leading Wales Awards 2018

The Leading Wales Awards were developed by a consortium of professional institutes, voluntary and public sector bodies as well as private companies. They seek to identify, recognise and celebrate personal achievement in outstanding leadership in Wales.

The organisations within the consortium share a passionate and professional belief that outstanding leadership (in all sectors) is the key driver of the growth of the economy of Wales. Our mission is to champion good leadership and influence leadership development by recognising, identifying and celebrating individuals, who through their leadership contribute to the prosperity of Wales.

They may be a volunteer, core worker, manager or executive in Wales and we need you to tell us about how their leadership is making a real difference to you, your life, your community, business or organisation.

In 2018 we have also added a new Leadership Award for an Organisation for which the judges are seeking nominations of organisations whose focus and investment on leadership development of its employees and volunteers (such as trustees) is inspiring and transforming i.e. an organisation leading the way in the development of the next generation of senior leaders.

Inspiring Great LeadershipOrganisational Award

This is an award to an organisation from any sector that has clearly implemented successful engagement strategies that demonstrably include inspiring the development of the leadership skills of its employees (and volunteers). The judges are seeking to identify and recognise an organisation that is “leading the way in the engagement and development of its individual employees (and volunteers), helping develop the next generation of leaders”.
