Green Hall Foundation
Charities in the UK looking for funding for projects or equipment to support their work can apply to the Foundation from 1 September this year, rather than 1 November, following changes to its next application cycle.
Formerly known as the Constance Green Foundation, the Green Hall Foundation aims to sustainably improve lives among the sick, the elderly, the disabled and the disadvantaged, particularly in the UK, and supports a wide range of charitable work, with some preference towards the fields of social welfare and medicine.
Grants of around £1,000 to £10,000 are available to assist with special projects or the purchase of specific equipment that will make a tangible and lasting difference to the relevant charity, such as:
- Where the Foundation can meet a significant proportion of the funding required.
- Where permanent equipment is needed or building required.
Preference is given to projects that will benefit a number of people rather than just a few.
Only the first 100 applications will go forward to the Trustees for consideration. Once the limit has been reached, the application cycle will be closed. The next application cycle will now open on 1 September 2018 (9am), and applicants should be quick off the mark and apply promptly.
