Free Participation Network Events
Public Service Boards (PSBs) became the statutory partnership vehicles under the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act and have been working towards setting Wellbeing objectives and a wellbeing plan as required under the act.
Over the last year, PSB’s have been busily engaging with citizens on the wellbeing assessment and are now engaging on draft objectives.
These regional network events in October will offer an opportunity for us all to better understand what the PSB does and who is involved, as well as creating a space for those involved to reflect on their engagement practice so far and to share with others who have been involved in other areas.
Attendees come from a range of different organisations in the public and third sector that focus on a variety of issues. The events are suitable for anyone from any level within an organisation that has an interest in practical participatory work, including consultation officers, trustees, volunteers, development workers and managers.
These practitioner networks are lively, participatory workshops which provide an opportunity for peers to engage, share and support each other.
They provide an invaluable opportunity to:
- Meet other practitioners in your area
- Share good practice
- Share ideas
- Problem solve
- Develop participatory skills
- Acquire new skills
These event will be facilitated in English, but you are welcome to contribute to discussions in both Welsh and English.
