Accredited Training – Youth Information Work for Practitioners
YMCA Wales Community College is offering you the opportunity for you gain a Level 3 Certificate in Youth Information Work.
This course is aimed at professionals who provide information services for young people for example: Youth Workers, Career advisers, librarians, practitioners in mainstream education etc.
This training will help learners improve their own knowledge and skills within Youth Information and allow learners to gain the European YINTRO certificate.
The course will cover:
- History of Youth Information Work within a Welsh and European context
- Creating Youth Information Products
- Contemporary Youth Information services including the use of technology
- Professional development as a Youth Information Practitioner
The course will take place on:
- Monday 15th June 2015
- Tuesday 16th June 2015
- Monday 22nd June 2015
- Tuesday 23rd June 2015
(4 full days – 9.30am – 4.30pm)

This is a College funded course, course costs will be subsidised by the College for organisations that have a service level agreement in place for 2014/15.
