“ADVANCEMENT IN SURGICAL MANAGEMENT WITH CONFLICT”
A talk by Mick Crumplin
The first meeting of the new season of the Wrexham Area Civic Society programme of events will take place on Thursday 19th September, 2019.
Mick Crumplin is to give a presentation entitled “ADVANCEMENT IN SURGICAL MANAGEMENT WITH CONFLICT”.
Mick Crumplin is a retired surgeon from the Maelor Hospital, Wrexham.
The meeting will take place at Ty AVOW, 21 Egerton Street, Wrexham at 7.00 pm, until about 9.00pm.
All are welcome, admission is free. The Society will be pleased to welcome you.
The Civic Society holds a number of talks at AVOW throughout the winter. These are all open to non-members. Highlights of forthcoming talks include “Beyond the Terraced Street: the development of workers’ housing in the 20th Century” by Gareth Carr in October, “Chirk Pals” by Graham Greasley in February, “Recent Archaeological Discoveries of late Neolithic to Roman Period in Borras Quarry” by Ian Grant (of Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust) in March, and “Wrexham Women History 1909-1918” by Georgina Gittins in April (together with our AGM). All these talks take place at meetings in AVOW. The Society will also hold its Annual Awards Evening (for members and invited guests only) in early December, an opportunity to show appreciation of the best (and very occasionally highlight the worst) developments in Wrexham.
