Liz Emmons, Wales Illegal Money Lending Unit (WIMLU) – Potential victims of loan sharks tend to be the most vulnerable people in society. This workshop will help participants to recognise loan shark activity and signs that clients might exhibit when they are a victim; have a greater awareness of the effects of illegal money lending; and, provide information where to get expert help and advice.
Professor John Parkinson, Head of School of Psychology, Bangor University – John will be presenting theory around positive psychology and how it relates to preventative approaches to mental and physical well-being. There will also be time for questions.
