{"id":192010,"date":"2022-08-16T11:40:08","date_gmt":"2022-08-16T11:40:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/avow.org\/?p=192010"},"modified":"2023-06-06T13:33:19","modified_gmt":"2023-06-06T13:33:19","slug":"funding-to-improve-the-lives-of-vulnerable-young-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/avow.org\/cy\/funding-to-improve-the-lives-of-vulnerable-young-people\/","title":{"rendered":"Funding to Improve the Lives of Vulnerable Young People"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><strong>Grants of up to \u00a32,000 are available to support the needs of vulnerable children and young people who have experienced a recent crisis or change in life, that has had a significant impact on their social and emotional wellbeing and their education. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The funding is being made available through the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3dsV4Df\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Buttle UK&#8217;s Chances for Children Grants<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Support might include items and activities to support learning and development such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Laptops<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Books<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Wi-Fi<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Educational toys<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Tuition<\/li>\n<li>Clothing and school uniforms<\/li>\n<li>Social, sporting and leisure activities<\/li>\n<li>Items for children\/young people\u2019s bedrooms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Who can apply?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Buttle UK will <strong>only accept applications from frontline professionals<\/strong> from a registered charity, housing association or public sector organisation who are ideally <strong>working directly with the children\/young person<\/strong>; have carried out at least one home visit and have made a full assessment of the children\u2019s or young person\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3QPfEfB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Applications can be made at any time by clicking here.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/buttleuk.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-192011 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/avow.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/buttle-uk-logo-300x169.png\" alt=\"Buttle Chances for Children logo\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grants of up to \u00a32,000 are available to support the needs of vulnerable children and young people who have experienced a recent crisis or change in life, that has had a significant impact on their social and emotional wellbeing and their education.
