The Plas Madoc Parent Carers group is a group that has been developed to offer support and advice to parents who have a child with a disability.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The primary aim of the group is to bring parents together who have a mutual understanding of their situation and the difficulties involved when raising a child with a disability. The group is very informal and provides an opportunity for parents to socialise with other parents and to talk about any issues worrying them. It is also a chance to gain information on services available. Outside agencies attend the group on a regular basis to offer informative talks on the services they provide. Examples of agencies that have attended include Parent Partnership, Cerebra, Jiwsi, and the Open University.<\/p>\n

The group meets every Thursday at the Opportunity Centre Plas Madoc from 10.30a.m. -12.30p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
