Childcare and Play

childcare and playChildcare and Play provisions include:

Little Sunflowers Childcare

Registered for full day care for children aged 2 -11 years old. The service is currently registered to care for 48 children at any one time and run from Rhosymedre Community School and the ICC in Plas Madoc. Find out more about Little Sunflowers here.

AVOW Play Team

AVOW Play and Community Development Department provide a number of different services for children, young people and residents of Plas Madoc and further afield. Find out more about the AVOW Play Team here

The Land Adventure Playground

The 8th Coolest Playground in the World with FREE open access 5 days a week, for children aged 5+.

Playschemes

Free open access Playschemes that travel around the Plas Madoc Community for children aged 5+, including provisions in Pant, Coed Efa and Pentre Broughton.

  • Drama Club – Acting, singing, dancing for children of all ages and abilities.
  • Parent & Carer services in Plas Madoc – a collection of clubs, groups and drop-in aimed at Parents and Carers to meet-up in a relaxed, supportive environment.
  • Kettle Club – for parents and residents every Thursday.
  • Brunch and Munch – Plas Madoc community group every Thursday
  • Parent Drop-in – to access support and advice every Tuesday
  •  Plas Madoc Parent & Carers Group  – to access support and advice for parents and carers of a child with a disability.
