Trustees’ Week: AVOW Trustee Spotlight No. 1 – Peter Howell Published 07/11/22

Headshot of Peter Howell, Chair of AVOW Trustees.

Cwrdd â’n Hymddiriedolwyr! / Meet our Trustees!

To mark Trustees’ Week 2022, we’ll be publishing a series of spotlights on some of our Trustees and the wonderful work they do at AVOW, and the experience they bring to our Board! Today’s spotlight is our Chair of Trustees, Peter Howell.

Peter is the recently appointed Chair of the Trustee Board at AVOW, and also a County Councillor in Gwersyllt where he lives. He worked in the Medical Biochemistry Lab at Wrexham Maelor Hospital for 26 years. More recently, he worked for Roche as Customer Account Manager for the health landscape in Wales for 17 years.

Peter is a Committee member at Wrexham Athletic Club and is a keen runner himself. He is a proud ‘litter picker’ in Gwersyllt, and also a Governor at the local Primary School… You might be wondering where he finds the time to do all of this: your guess is as good as ours!

Peter has been a Wrexham AFC fan for 52 years and attends games with his daughter and grandson.

Diolch yn fawr for everything you do here at AVOW and out in the local communities, Peter!
