The Welsh Government has re-opened its scheme providing defibrillators in public places, for a second tranche. A further £500,000 has been used to purchase defibrillators which will be allocated to enable access to strategically placed defibrillators on community buildings or sports grounds; locations that will provide maximum benefit within communities.
Heated defibrillator cabinets are not supplied, and applicants must provide these.
Applications in the second tranche are being accepted up until the deadline of 30th April 2022, then applications will be considered, and defibrillators allocated accordingly.
The defibrillator application form needs to be submitted to Save a Life Cymru here.
