At Prince’s Trust Cymru, we’ve continued to offer support to young people throughout the Coronavirus Pandemic. All our courses are delivered online (via Microsoft Teams) and are available to 16 – 30-year-olds across Wales.
Programmes and Support for Young People
Daily introductions sessions where young people and find out more about Prince’s Trust Cymru and what we offer. Our team will guide the young person through an induction before signposting them onto the most suitable course.
This programme is designed to help young people get ahead, boost confidence and improve their understanding of the jobs market. We deliver a selection of seven online sessions on a weekly basis.
Explore is our flagship engagement programme, which supports young people aged 16 – 25 to develop essential skills. (e.g. confidence, healthy lifestyles, communication, teamwork) Explore sessions are held twice a week over four weeks, to support a young person’s personal and social development.
A three-day course designed to support aspiring young entrepreneurs (aged 18 – 30) into self-employment. Every month, the course coves marketing, HMRC, business planning, and everything you need to know about being your own boss. Participants can apply for small grants to test ideas, as they prepare to launch their business.
Financial support up-to-the value of £200 to help improve 16 – 30-year-olds with the tools or equipment required to take their next step in education, training or work.
