Shared Reading Alternative Well-being Offer with The Reader Organisation

Throughout the pandemic, The Reader Organisation has been offering an alternative provision to continue our work to combat loneliness, isolation, and mental health difficulties through our Shared Reading model.

I wanted to remind our communities that our North Wales project is currently offering the following provision:

  • A weekly phone call, sharing poetry or stories with a trained volunteer – bilingually
  • Regular online community Shared Reading groups via zoom or skype.
  • Regular emails from a trained volunteer.
  • Weekly activity packs.
  • Facebook live readings on our page.

We are currently accepting referrals, please contact the central number (0151 729 2250), or myself for further information.

We have also funding for those professionals who may wish to partner with our organisation and receive training to deliver Shared Reading through their service. Please contact me directly for more information.

We welcome your enquiries!

You can phone us on 01978 312556. Or use our contact form here
