The theme ‘A Glimmer of Hope’ is an opportunity to visually express the hope that exists for people affected by rare diseases. Same but Different CIC want to celebrate the people behind their conditions and so they’d like you to send them your images that encapsulate ‘hope’. The winning images will be used to create a calendar that will rais awareness of rare diseases as well as featuring specific rare disease days weaved into the calendar year. The overall winning entry will be printed on the front cover and win a brand new Polaroid Snap.
Who can enter?
The competition is open to anyone except professional photographers, so anyone with a camera or smartphone can give it a go.
We would love to see as many entries as possible, so get your children involved and have fun!
When can I enter?
The competition is open NOW and runs until the 22nd September where a panel of judges will decide the 13 winners (12-month photographs and a front cover). The overall winner – featured on the front cover – will then be put to a public vote and announced on 6th October when the calendars will be available to buy. The overall winner will also receive a brand new Polaroid Snap (with film) to keep capturing their memories of hope
