Department: Social Services for Children – Early Years and Family Support Service (Early Years Pathfinder)
Location: Westwood Centre, Buckley
Salary: Grade G05 – SCP 24 to 27 £27,905 to £30,507 per annum
Hours: 37 per week
This exciting new role-based primarily in Buckley will provide consultation on the identification of training and development needs, identifying opportunities for joint training initiatives between the Early Years Pathfinder sector and other stakeholders within Flintshire to promote partnership working.
The complex and changing nature of legislation governing the functions within the Early Years requires that the qualifications, skills and knowledge of employees are kept up-to-date, this role is critical to this and will meet this need by ensuring that the staff members possess the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes required to provide a high quality, cost-effective service across the early years’ sector.
Applicants must demonstrate
- Experience of networking with stakeholders and partner agencies
- Ability to design, deliver and evaluate training & development programmes.
- Ability to commission, appoint, and evaluate the work of external training providers.
