NHS Birthday Cake Competition with Awyr Las/Blue Sky

Calling all fondant fanciers, royal icing rock stars and whipped cream wizards – get involved in the Awyr Las, North Wales NHS Charity Cake Decorating Competition 2020!

The online cake decorating competition provides an opportunity to celebrate and recognise the NHS’ Birthday (which is on the 5th July) throughout July, as well as give thanks to our NHS heroes. Get your pinny on and decorate a cake in honour of our NHS and International Year of the Nurse and Midwife.

To be in with a chance of winning an iPad for yourself and a £250 donation to support your chosen ward, service or department, enter a photo of your International Year of the Nurse and Midwife inspired cake by Thursday 2nd July 2020.

How to Enter

Enter the Cake Decorating Competition (all ages) now: Cake Decorating Competition

Wait, there’s more! This year we have launched a special children’s competition, too!

Drawing Competition

Let your imaginations run wild and enter a drawing, painting or design of a very special NHS cake to recognise our NHS heroes.

The theme is “International Year of the Nurse and Midwife” – this means the design can be anything to do with nurses, midwives and the essential role these wonderful people play in the NHS, in both hospitals and our communities!

The winning design will have their cake brought to life by Richard Holt, one of the world’s finest patisserie chefs, for you to enjoy as a very special treat at home – sweet!

The winner will also receive a special prize to keep!

To be in with a chance of winning these wonderful prizes, enter a photo or scanned copy of your picture by Thursday 2nd July 2020.
