Do you know someone who is Deaf, has a hearing loss, tinnitus or sight loss?
JobSense support people who have been out of work for over 12 months or who are facing complex barriers due to their sensory loss. We support them to access paid work of their choice or to help them gain qualifications or work relevant certifications which will help them into work in the future.
We also work with employers to ensure that they receive useful information and support to be able to successfully recruit and support people with hearing or sight loss into their organisation in an accessible and sustainable way.
JobSense started supporting participants from March 2019 and has already seen a wide range of people with hearing and sight loss benefit from the support provided by our skilled and dedicated employment advisors.
All our advisers are trained in sensory loss awareness and many can use British Sign Language (BSL). We can also help if your sensory loss is part of a broader disability.
