These two informal workshops are designed for people of all ages who may have wondered or been wondering if starting a business/enterprise could be a possibility for them. The workshops are for beginners who are interested in exploring the ideas and skills needed to start-up and run a business.
In these supportive and friendly workshops we will be exploring different types of business/enterprises, thinking about skills needed to set up and run a business and steps to consider when starting up.
We will be considering:
- What is enterprise and entrepreneurship?
- Enterprise skills
- Exploring business ideas
- How could you profile potential customers and reach them?
- How could you startup, how much could it cost and how could you sell to make a profit?
Completion of this course does not result in a recognised qualification. However, you do receive a certificate of completion from us.
This course is for beginners to entrepreneurship. No previous experience is needed and there are no formal entry requirements.
This ‘taster’ could lead on to an accredited course and an Award in Work-Related Education.
