ADTRAC East are still supporting young people through mobile phone, Whatsapp and Zoom. We have been providing young people with employability worksheets and encouraging them to complete some online training and/or workbooks through adult community learning. We have also enrolled young people into college for September and are hoping to support with some transitional work once staff are back in college.
We are constantly adapting to new challenges which include supporting young people with food parcels, helping with transport costs for those who have found work and providing more of a sounding board to young people who are struggling to be at home which is helping with family relationships.
Whilst a small number of young people are looking for work, our main priority is providing support to those young people without a support network around them.
