Webinar: Identifying reliable health information online

Friday 15 May 2020

During this free one-hour long webinar, we at Digital Communities Wales will give you an overview of your options for identifying reliable health information online. We are aware that during the UK ‘Lockdown’ many of us will be inundated with information from different sources, such as the News channels or the Internet, and some of these media sources may spread misinformation. As well as this, many of us are currently unable to commute to our local GP or Pharmacy as we may be classified within the Government’s guidance for vulnerable group isolation. During this webinar, we will present you with different options for identifying reliable health information using the Internet as well as discuss the potential risks associated with misinformation.

This session is designed specifically for staff and volunteers working with vulnerable groups/individuals in Wales.
