Part One of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure, which seeks to improve primary mental health services in Wales, comes into force on the 6th October 2012.
Gofal has been awarded Welsh Government funding to measure the impact of Part One, and we are currently looking to capture people’s experiences of these services pre-implementation.
The following survey is open for the next four weeks, and we would really appreciate it if you could publicise it to your staff, service users or members, through any appropriate networks.
This national survey is relevant to any person in Wales who has visited their local GP surgery to seek advice, treatment or support for mental health problems in the last 2 years.
To get a good picture of people’s experiences, we are keen to hear from as many people as possible, from a diverse range of backgrounds. The resulting report will be available to partner organisations who assist us with the survey.

This section of the website contains information on Consultations from the Welsh Government, the NHS and also Wrexham County Borough Council that may require voluntary sector opinion on proposed areas of their work.
We inform our members on current consultations through our regular e-briefings (subscribe to them here) and at the Health & Social Care Adults Forum and also the Children & Young People’s Forum.
