Are you a carer aged 18-25 years old? If yes, you should come along to the Young Adult Carer Group.

It’s a chance to meet others in an informal, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Please note the group meets monthly but the venues/times may change so please phone us if you would like to find out when and where the group will be meeting next.

The group is always looking for new ideas about what we can do next; trips, talks etc., so please do not hesitate to get in touch or come along…the more the merrier!

We are open to suggestions for different activities and outings!!!

For more information or to book your place please contact Kati on 0800 276 1070/01978 318812.

Matter — online community for young adult carers What Wrexham Carers Service can offer? Info Shop, Wrexham

Matter has been created by Carers Trust to provide an online space for young adult carers aged 16–25 to connect, share their experiences, and access trusted support.

The vision of the site is to bring together young adult carers from across the UK, as well as those who work with young adult carers, via an online space which is safe, fun, and most of all, inspiring. There is an online community team on hand to provide support as and when needed, by messaging or email.

If you’re aged 16–25 and are caring for a family member or friend, Matter is a platform for you to share your story with others and to hear the stories of those with similar experiences to your own. Your thoughts, your world, matter.
