‘Parents, Childcare and Employment’ (PaCE) project
Wrexham Family Information Service (WFIS) are welcoming the ‘Parents, Childcare and Employment’ (PaCE) project which is now operational in Wrexham.
PaCE is funded through ESF and managed by Welsh Government in partnership with DWP/JCP.
PaCE Parents Advisors Caroline Kolongei and Ceri Hughes will be working with economically inactive parents across Wrexham County Borough (except in Communities First areas).
As PaCE is closely aligned with the aims of Families First and Flying Start projects delivered by WFIS we are pleased that the project agreed to be based with the WFIS Opening Doors/Engaging Families/Flying Start Outreach and Aspire project in the AVOW building. Referrals for the project are already being generated through this partnership approach and we are confident that this project will make a positive contribution to supporting economically inactive parents and the sustainability of the childcare market.
