North Wales Networking Event – Wales Equality and Inclusion
Equality & Inclusion (E&I) Programme – North Wales Network Meeting – Wednesday the 21st of March, 2018, Welsh Government Offices, Llandudno Junction – 9am to 1pm
The Welsh Government’s National Equality and Inclusion (E&I) projects are funded for three years from 2017 to 2020, and several networking meetings have already been held in other regions of Wales to highlight the work that each project will deliver. Such sessions have been helpful to key officers in Local Government, Public Services and the voluntary sector to explain how the funded projects can best support local needs and help take forward conversations with the most vulnerable members of our communities.
The next networking event will be held at Welsh Government Offices in Llandudno Junction and will provide you with the opportunity to:-
- Gain a better understanding of what each of the three-year projects will deliver in North Wales, theirs aims, objectives, outputs and intended outcomes and how this links to your agenda;
- Develop better working links with the E&I projects going forward;
- Network with the providers and colleagues in the E&I sector across the region.
Introductory presentations from each project will be followed by a series of small group discussions to explore how the funded projects can support work in the region and how the voice of the communities the projects are engaging with can be heard. The event will end with a light lunch.
A follow-on session will be held for Welsh Government staff and Regional Community Cohesion Co-ordinators only in the afternoon.
