Menter Iontach Nua Master Class: Stuart Jackson and Ry Morgan : Behaviour Change and Social Enterprise
Social enterprises are often operating in the area of encouraging people to change things they do. It may be in drug and alcohol support, or public safety, or encouraging recycling. But how do you go about changing behaviour?
Stuart Jackson, founder of award-winning Ice Creates, is one of the UK’s leading practitioners on the area of behaviour change, whether it is within an organisation itself or for national campaigns such as Healthy Schools. If you are changing the world – or your local community – then Stuart’s session is essential.
The master class will also hear from innovative social entrepreneur Ry Morgan, who set up Please Cycle which uses radical new ways to get people out of their cars and onto their bikes. Ry will share his story and approach – one we can all learn from.
The day will include a tour of the award-winning social enterprise Dangerpoint, which saves children’s lives and prevents injury through behavioural change.
It takes place 9.30 – 14.00 on 24th July at Dangerpoint, Granaries Business Park, Station Road, Talacre, Flintshire CH8 9RL. The event includes lunch and is free of charge to attend. Please register through Eventbrite
