Jobs Growth Wales at Groundwork
Groundwork are looking to support employers in the voluntary sector who can create a new job for a young person in North Wales
Groundwork North Wales is now looking to create more opportunities for young people.
As the contracted management agent for the Third Sector Strand of the Welsh Governments’ Jobs Growth Wales programme, Groundwork is delivering across six counties in North Wales. Employers receive full reimbursement of wages at the National Minimum Wage and NI contributions, for up to six month that the young person is employed through the programme. Employers are also supported through the recruitment process and given free advice and support to help source the right candidates.
Groundwork have now been allocated a further 164 opportunities for North Wales during 2014-15, and are looking for employers who could offer a young person aged between 16-24 years old a newly created employment opportunity that is sustainable in the future.

Groundwork is delivering exciting results with the Jobs Growth Wales programme across North Wales and are delighted to report that since the start of the Groundwork programme in August 2013, 140 young people have started employment opportunities and are heading towards sustainable employment.
