Inquiry into Supply Teaching – Survey for parents and carers
The National Assembly for Wales’s Children, Young People and Education Committee is currently carrying out an inquiry into supply teaching.
As part of the inquiry, the Committee would like to learn about whether the use of supply teachers affects pupils, and if it does, what impact it has. A supply teacher is a teacher who isn’t your usual class teacher, and isn’t a teacher who normally works at the school.
The Committee would like you to tell them what you think about your child/children’s lessons that may be covered by a supply teacher, what sort of things they learn during those lessons and how they are different from lessons with their usual teacher.
Please take a few minutes to complete this survey to help the Committee understand your views. You can answer as many of the questions as you wish, and the survey should take no more than five minutes to complete. Please note that these surveys are anonymous.
Comments made and data gathered will not be attributed to an individual, school or local authority.
