Improving Lives through Talking & Learning Together

The Power of Talk
20th February 2018, 9am – 4pm
The OpTic Centre, St Asaph LL17 0JD
Social work and social care services are going through a period of unprecedented change in putting the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014 into practice.  Whilst individualised training will play an important role in supporting this, there is an increasing research and practice evidence to suggest that collective learning within the context of practice can be most effective.

This event will bring together a range of people from policy, research and practice to explore what we already know about this subject and how we might use this knowledge to support team and organisational development as well as co-production with the people they support.

If you are interested in attending, please contact Nick Andrews: n.d.andrews@swansea.ac.uk.
