Digital Kit for Communities

wcc-logo-transparentDigital Communities Wales is the Welsh Government’s new digital inclusion project, focused on helping organisations develop digital skills in the communities they serve. As part of the support provided in the project, we are distributing free digital kit to eligible organisations. This means you can apply to be allocated a package of kit including laptops, tablets and specialist equipment, allowing the kit to be used by people with disabilities. The idea is that organisations can use the kit to introduce people to the benefits of being online, improve their confidence and develop their skills.

Who Can Apply?

Any organisation supporting people who are digitally excluded can apply. This might include public libraries, housing associations, community centres and voluntary groups. The kit must be used for community engagement and public use. It is not for administration.

How do I apply?

There is a short and simple application form on this page, which can be downloaded.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 8th May. We hope to give you a decision as soon as possible.

Please e-mail completed application forms to helen.evans@walescooperative.org.
