Consultation on policing priorities
I review my Police and Crime Plan every year and part of that process is to ask you for your views about the policing service in North Wales. The Police and Crime Plan will set the objectives and strategic direction for North Wales Police for the following year.
I meet with several individuals and organisations on a day to day basis and I do listen to their concerns and how we can improve the policing service.
The most significant changes that I have implemented to date have been as a direct result of what people have told me. The dedicated rural crime team was created following the rural communities telling me that rural crime was not dealt with effectively in North Wales. This rural crime team is now well established in North Wales and has made an outstanding difference to tackling crime in rural communities.
I would now like to hear your views to see if I can make a difference to you. Your views are invaluable to me to ensure that we have a policing service in this area that reflects the needs of the people of North Wales.
You can submit your comments by completing an online survey; the deadline for submissions is Friday 15th January 2016. A paper copy of the survey is available by contacting the OPCC and at front counters of main police stations. Alternatively you can attend one of our consultation meetings, see below. Please inform us by emailing OPCC@nthwales.pnn.police.uk if you’ll be joining us at the meeting.
