Charity views are needed to develop an acceptable fundraising practice that has public confidence
In light of recent public concern, NCVO have been asked by Rob Wilson, the Minister for Civil Society, to conduct a review of fundraising self-regulation.
Charities can only do the work they do because of the trust, confidence and overwhelming generosity of the British people. To maintain this trust, charities must work to the highest standards. That trust and those standards must be safeguarded by a simple and effective system of fundraising regulation.
I am keen to hear your views on how we can best create such a system.
