Mission – Deafblind UK is an organisation of and for people who are Deafblind or have a combined sight and hearing loss. We will champion the rights and interests of all people who are Deafblind or have a combined sight and hearing loss and will deliver quality services to support individuals to have autonomy and control over their lives.

Our members are a married couple who both have some mobility issues.
They are interested in travel, history and local events.
The husband is ex-Army and a member of Blind Veteran’s and he attends the centre in Llandudno occasionally.
They are looking for general company and conversation and possibly to be assisted with a visit to the bank once a month.
Both of the members communicate with clear speech.
What will be required:
We are looking for committed, reliable and encouraging volunteers for this role. You will need to complete an application on our website, online DBS and some online training. You will need to be over the age of 18 for some roles.
When: 1-2 hours every Wednesday afternoon.
